Priscilla Horstman Maassen, that would be me, but when I travel or speak English, my name is Sheila.
I studied Tourism & Leisure Management, followed by a Social & Culture Study in Utrecht, the Netherlands. During most of my adult life, I’ve been travelling around the world. Exploring, enjoying, watching and learning while backpacking makes me happy and you might even say; complete.
In 2009/2010 I made a trip around the world for 6 months with my husband. That is only one of the many trips I’ve made. Did you know that the photos I’ve taken during travelling are all taken by a compact camera? My favourite cities are Sydney, Hoi An, Las Vegas, Rome, London, Wellington and Ubud. My favourite travel destinations are Cambodia, New Zealand and Indonesia.
When I’m not travelling, you can find me in Arnhem, the Netherlands.
I live, I travel, I watch and learn and I enjoy life. And during that I capture my precious moments and fond memories. After all, photography is my second passion. I’m straight to the point, easy going, creative and so are my photos.
I am very interested in different cultures and I love to be on the move. This doesn’t necessarily mean I have to go abroad. The Netherlands has much to offer. There are many exciting events, historical villages and interesting museums to explore. But I also enjoy scuba diving, (indoor) rock climbing, surfing, riding my motorcycle, getting tattooed and pierced, reading a book, a nice cup of tea and having a good laugh.
